How to check your internet connection
- type "cmd" then enter into the search box. This will bring up a command window
- type "ipconfig" the enter into the conmand window
- note the gateway ip address eg xxx.xxx.xxx.1
- type ping and the ip address you wrote down then press enter
- if you receive no replies then your pc is not talking to your router
- power off and on both and repeat the above process
How to clear your history and cache in Firefox
- click on history then clear recent history or use shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Del
- Select "Everything" from time range to clear
